Kyri Baker received her B.S., M.S, and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in 2009, 2010, and 2014, respectively. Since Fall 2017, she has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado, Boulder, in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering, with a courtesy appointment in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering. Previously, she was a Research Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, CO. Her research interests include power system optimization and planning, building-to-grid integration, smart grid technologies, and renewable energy. She is a Fellow of the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute (RASEI). In 2021, she received the NSF CAREER award from EPCN.
