On May 1, CAISO’s Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) and Day-Ahead Market Enhancements (DAME) will go live. Together, these changes represent a major shift in how the Western day-ahead market operates.

EDAM expands participation beyond California into a broader regional footprint, while DAME introduces changes to how the day-ahead market clears within CAISO. For market participants, this means new data, updated pricing and congestion dynamics, and changes to how workflows and analysis need to be structured in Yes Energy.

Join Yes Energy experts Emily Merchant and Tim Hough for a focused walkthrough of CAISO EDAM/DAME and how it will impact the way you analyze and interact with market data in Yes Energy.

In this session, we will cover:

  • What CAISO EDAM/DAME introduces and why it matters for market participants

  • Where EDAM/DAME-related changes will appear across Yes Energy products

  • How new data will be structured, accessed, and incorporated into existing reports

  • What to expect as updates roll out, leading up to go-live and beyond
