Yes Energy Deepens Collaboration with Snowflake to Accelerate AI-Driven Energy Operations

Written by Yes Energy | Jan 27, 2026

Yes Energy collaborates with Snowflake to deliver power market data efficiently, enabling energy organizations to support advanced data analytics and real-time decision-making and harness AI-driven insights at scale.

Yes Energy, a leader in data and analytics for electric power markets, today announced its collaboration with Snowflake to support the launch of Snowflake’s new Energy Solutions. As Snowflake’s first energy-focused Marketplace partner beginning in 2020, Yes Energy has played a foundational role in bringing modern cloud data infrastructure to power market participants. Through this collaboration, Yes Energy and Snowflake are helping utilities, traders, asset operators, and developers modernize how they use data and AI, improving efficiency, decision-making and reliability as the industry navigates rapid change.

Today, energy companies face pressure to secure critical infrastructure, improve operational resilience and navigate volatile markets with real-time insight. Delivering data via Snowflake Marketplace, Yes Energy enables customers to harness Snowflake’s native AI/ML capabilities and elastic architecture to confidently perform forecasting, modelling, portfolio optimization, risk management and algorithmic decision-making without costly data transfers or preparation.

In conjunction with the launch of Snowflake’s new Energy Solutions, Yes Energy is making Infrastructure Insights available as a data listing on Snowflake Marketplace, extending a proven Yes Energy capability to a new cloud-native delivery option. Infrastructure Insights provides an analytics-ready view of energy infrastructure projects and interconnection queues, giving customers clear visibility into where new generation, transmission and load are developing. Delivered directly through Snowflake’s cloud data platform and fully integrated with Yes Energy’s analytics software, Infrastructure Insights enables faster evaluation of project viability, emerging grid constraints and market opportunities as the power system continues to evolve.

“Our partnership with Snowflake has already enabled dozens of companies to build modern analytics platforms on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud using Yes Energy data,” said Isaac Velander, Chief Product Officer at Yes Energy. “Energy Solutions and Infrastructure Insights builds on that foundation by bringing additional functionality and analytics-ready datasets directly into the Snowflake ecosystem. This period of significant market expansion and redesign creates an important opportunity to rethink data and analytics infrastructure. We see significant potential to continue expanding this partnership and help energy operators adopt more modern, scalable approaches.”

As energy systems become more interconnected and digital, organizations need a unified and governed view of their most critical data. Snowflake’s Energy Solutions establishes this foundation by helping companies bridge traditionally siloed systems, collaborate more seamlessly with ecosystem partners like Yes Energy and unlock new AI-driven capabilities that improve reliability, efficiency and long-term performance.

“Organizations operating in today’s electric power markets are navigating unprecedented complexity, where real-time decisions, evolving market designs and rapid infrastructure change all depend on having timely, trustworthy data,” said Fred Cohagan, Global Head of Energy, Snowflake. “Snowflake and partners like Yes Energy are helping teams across trading, operations and planning build a shared data foundation that supports faster analysis, responsible use of AI and secure collaboration. That foundation is becoming essential to running more reliable power systems and keeping pace with change in an increasingly dynamic market environment.”

Cohagan will speak at Yes Energy’s annual user conference, EMPOWER, in Boulder, Colorado, on February 25-27, where he will explore AI and data management solutions for the energy sector and discuss how modern data platforms are shaping the future of power markets.

Together, Snowflake and Yes Energy are helping energy organizations modernize how they use data to make faster, more confident decisions – from trading and operations to planning and infrastructure development. By combining Snowflake’s cloud data platform with Yes Energy’s deep market expertise, the collaboration enables teams to move beyond fragmented tools and build a scalable foundation for analytics, AI and real-time insight as market complexity continues to increase.
