Director of People Operations

Yes Energy –  Boulder, CO

Yes Energy’s industry leading electric power trading analytics software provides real time visibility into the massive amount of data that is generated by the US electrical grid every day.  This in turn facilitates the optimal use of financial and physical capital in the energy industry - an industry that is a critical backbone of the entire economy.

What a mouthful.  Most of the best candidates for our Director of People Operations will read that and say “huh?” or perhaps start yawning.  We admit it to ourselves regularly - who ever thought they’d be doing this for a living? Perhaps more important for those best candidates is that the quirky work we do in our niche industry lines up perfectly with our always curious, highly motivated, and often nerdy people.  They love to solve tricky problems with innovative technical solutions. We set high standards, work hard to meet them and we believe saying "Yes" to customers is the right way to do business. We mix high tech work with old-fashioned approach to people and relationships, inside the company and out.  If this sounds like a fit for how you have wanted to approach helping a company manage and care for its employees... read on.
